Wolfie’s Hot Chicken is surprisingly an ALL VEGAN restaurant that I had never been to before because it was up by Eagle Rock. My writing mentor invited me to lunch so we could talk business and life and I was so excited to try a new place. First of all, they have a great outdoor patio area. Second of all, the staff was SO incredibly friendly. Thirdly, the food was so delicious. Fourthly, it’s right now the street from Donut Friend and Magpies. So if you want vegan chicken, vegan donuts, and vegan ice cream, COME HERE.

I got the corndog and the mild (im a baby, I know) chicken tenders with fries. 

First of all, the chicken tenders were SOO bomb. They had such a good crust on the outside that reminded me of real chicken tenders. Also, the actual meat tasted like seitan which I didn’t expect but was really yummy!! You also get to choose which dipping sauces you want and I got ketchup and their bomb ass bbq sauce, but they also had maple butter and ranch and hot sauce. The fries underneath were also SOOO bomb. They tasted like Mcdonalds fries and had the same texture too.

The corndog was okay. The batter didn’t taste too much like a classic corn dog, so I wouldn’t order again, but I want to go back and try one of their chicken sandwiches really bad!! This place had great vibes. Deff check it out!!!
