You know the friend in Paris I keep mentioning in all these Paris blog posts? Well, her family graciously took us out to dinner (#thanksfam) and decided to take us to this super upscale and chic Asian restaurant called Mun.
Not only was the interior gorgeous, the exterior patio had a beautiful view of the glittering Eiffel Tower and, I mean, what more can you ask for people!?
The restaurant, like most in Paris, is not all-vegan, but the waitstaff is incredibly knowledgeable about vegan options and was more than happy to help out. Because my sister and I had an early dinner at L’as Du Falafel that night (if you don’t know what that is, check out our blog post from a prior trip to Paris!), we only got something light at Mun.
We ended up getting the citrus avocado quinoa passion fruit salad. I can’t remember if it was modified or not for us, but it was INCREDIBLE. The quinoa was so flavorful, the lettuce was so crispy and fresh, the avocado was smooth and buttery, and the tangy sweet citrussy passion fruit dressing knocked it out of the park. I would order this every day if I could!!!
The cocktails were also amazing. I got one that literally was served to me on dry ice and tasted like a matcha latte – I can’t explain it. Incredibly yummy. I only got a video, not a picture, so y’all will have to use your imagination lmao.
Then for dessert, they had mochi with a few vegan fruit flavors including passion fruit, mango, and coconut. All of them were SO yummy. I think the coconut was surprisingly my favorite, but they were all sweet and chewy, and delicious.
I should mention that this place was pretty fancy, so it may be out of the average person’s price range, but if you can afford it (or have someone to treat you like we did #thanksfam), it could be worth checking out for the views alone! Plus, the vegan options are really yummy!
