We had one last morning in Paris during our trip and decided to spend it going out to breakfast with our friend Monica who knows ALLLLL the trendy cafes in Paris. I’m not even kidding. She has a never-ending list of places she has tried and places she needs to try. If you need a rec, hit her up. Well, if you know her and need a rec lol.
Cuppa was one of the cafes on her list that she had yet to try that ALSO had vegan options – it was the perfect fit.
Cuppa is this cute little Japanese (I think?) cafe with a non-vegan menu, but tons of vegan options! Also, also, also, it was one of the only places in Paris that had quality matcha, let alone any matcha at all, which was a plus. Paris is not a matcha city we’ve learned!
Anyway, the three of us ended up getting their strawberry oat matchas, their vegan yogurt bowl, and their vegan banana bread slice.
Although the strawberry matchas were BEAUTIFUL, we didn’t love the strawberry flavor as much as we hoped. It was a bit more tart than sweet. However, Bella just got regular matcha (after giving up on the strawberry one lol) and said it was great, so if you want matcha, maybe get a regular one and skip on the pretty but tart strawberry version!
The yogurt bowl, on the other hand, was EPIC. I’m not sure what brand the vegan yogurt was or if it was homemade, but it was silky and had the perfect amount of sweetness. The fruit on top was super fresh, and the granola was delicious and had an amazing sanded-down texture that really complimented the bowl. Also, visually, it was super cute and aesthetic.
The banana bread was also super delicious and my sister has been non-stop talking about it since we got it.
So if you’re into trendy cafes like this with amazing and simple vegan options, definitely check it out!!!
