I JUST FOUND MY NEW FAVORITE VEGAN DESSERT IN NYC!!!!

One small dilemma… I don’t know what it is. I mean, I know it’s vegan and delicious, but I have no idea what category this dessert falls into or its name. It’s like a banana pudding, but without bananas?? But it’s like thicker than pudding and more complex than mousse? But more in the mousse ballpark I guess? 

Anyway, it’s AMAZING. The place, Baonanas, is not all-vegan but they do always have a solid vegan option and this time it was COOKIES AND CREAM. BRB, gonna go cry from happiness. It was thick and creamy and luxurious and Oreo-y and perfect and I wanted to eat a bucket for it. They also had topping for the mouse (???) like fruits, Graham crackers, and some other options I didn’t see. 

It was confusing, though, because the menu board said the vegan flavor was piña colada… but it wasn’t? I’m assuming most of the flavors are coconut based, even though the cookies and cream didn’t taste too much like coconut. However,  I do think they use coconut cream to get that thickkkk consistency, so if you don’t like coconut, GTFO playa!

Anyway, if you’re in the area, def worth a stop! It’s so, so yummy!!
