Hey vegan travelers! If you haven’t already read our prior blogs (which you should… #shamelessplug), then you already know that my sister and I recently took a trip to Japan!
I’m not very familiar with airlines and such, but I do know that if you go to Tokyo from LA, Singapore Airlines is one of the most, if not the most, popular airline to take.
But before you judge my sister and me, I want to clarify that my dad was going to Tokyo for business… hence why we were in business class. Don’t come @ us saying how spoiled we are. We’re just trying to spread the vegan love, ok!?!?!?! #byefelicia
Anyway, if you order a vegan meal ahead of time, they will prepare delicious vegan meals for you to enjoy on the plane!
So here are some of the options we were given during our ten-hour flight:
- Breakfast potatoes with grilled veggies (breakfast)
- Split pea soup (lunch)
- A curry quinoa dish with roasted eggplant (dinner)
- Fresh yummy fruit (dessert)
- Not pictured: Sourdough bread with margarine (snack/appetizer)
Everything was delicious and the best part was: it was all super healthy! Usually when I travel, I already feel gross and then I feel even grosser after eating shitty, oily plane food; however, Singapore did not do us dirty. I legit think I ate healthier on this plane ride than I do in normal life lol.
So if you ever find yourself going to Tokyo, know that Singapore Airlines has your back.
