Lean with it, rock with it, am I right people? Ok, sorry I’m jetlag after just getting back from London last night so my joke skills are pretty close to none right now lol.
Anyway, yes, my friend Je’lyn and I traveled to Pisa for a day trip and guess what? Ate vegan food! (Cuz I mean, what’s a day trip without some good grub?)
Anyway, so yes, obvs we did see the Leaning Tower of Pisa (and climb up it ) and YES it is HELLA leaning in person, probably more so than the photos let on.
Reguardless, Pisa is a really beautiful city and I recommend checking it out for a day. There were no specific all-vegan restaurants since the city is quite small, but literally there are like a million IDENTICAL touristy italian restaurants that all have the same vegan options: green salad, pizza with no cheese, and spaghetti with tomato sauce. For those of you who don’t know, if you’re in Italy and don’t know what to get, those are your best bets as they are almost all vegan wherever you go.
However, because you’re in Italy all the bread and pasta is amazing even at the most touristy places, no matter where you get it.
So my friend Je’lyn and I just stopped in a random one, don’t remember the name but I can guarentee you they are all the same.
I got a fresh squeezed orange juice, a garden salad with no cheese, and an amazing bowl of spaghetti with tomato sauce. So yeah, there ya go!
Also, there are like a million gazillion gelato places on the same street and I legit went to like ten of them in the search for vegan chocolate gelato, however at legit EVERY SINGLE ONE the only vegan options were strawberry and lemon, so if fruits are not your thang I’m sowwy.
Also in the picture I got my strawberry (which was pretty good) in a cone that I later found out was not vegan #oops so don’t get a cone lol. Also HATERZ GONNA HATE IM SORRY I MADE A MISTAKE HOP OFF MY DICK OK?!
Anyway, yeah, if you’re in the area, you good. We got ya covered.
