Time to get WILD, am I right ladies??? (and men I guess, but is it sexist that I assume most vegans and people who read blogs are women? Yeah probably #sorry but let’s also be real, no reads our blog #lol)
Anyway, my friend and I stumbled upon the cutest little vegan cafe called Wild Food Cafe (which was actually recommended to me by one of my vegan friends who lived in London for a few years)
Most things are raw on the menu and I think all of it is gluten-free, so if you’re not into things like flax crackers and such, probably not the place for you.
For starters, my friend and I got the medicinal mushroom hot chocolate and legit started TRIPPING BALLS. No I’m kidding, there were no shrooms in it, just mushrom powder for nutritional benefits #lololol. Either way, you coudn’t taste the mushrooms and it was thick and creamy and delicious! (And no we didn’t trip on it …. #shhh)
Then for my meal I got the “sweet potato shepard’s pie” made with lentils instead of meat and it was BALLER. I legit haven’t had shepard’s pie in since I was a kid and having it again was heavily. I highly recommend it. Probably one of the best vegan dishes I’ve had in London.
My friend Ali was being #lame and got the hummus plate and sweet potato wedges. She liked the hummus plate, but hated the wedges. Apparently they had no flavor, so maybe avoid that one? But other than that, I’d def come back!!
