That Vegan Life Doe takes the Bay Area!!!! All thanks to Kristen and her family for adopting us for Thanksgiving #yassss
So, apparently bubble tea (aka tea with boba for the folks who no comprendo) is really big in Cupertino (as in popular, not in size lol) and Kristen suggested that we try this place to really get the full Cupertino experience!
This place is super cool. There is a menu with all different flavors of teas (like lychee and mango, etc) and then you can add boba, toppings, and milk. The milk is lactose free which they couldn’t clarify if it was dairy free so we just got the tea without the milk.
Also, the boba is “honey boba” which may not be vegan for some of you if you don’t eat honey (I try to avoid honey, but I eat it occasionally, especially when I’m sick #sueme). I actually didn’t know the boba was honey boba until after I ordered it, so I was just like whatever.
Olie got the watermelon tangerine tea with light sweetness and I got the same with normal sweetness. The tea was SO SO SO yummy. The instant we tried it, we were like, YES. Olie got that tea with red bean topping (so baller), and I got that tea with the honey boba, red beans, and taro (sort of tastes like sweet potato). LET ME TELL YOU. ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I’VE EVER HAD. LIKE ACTUALLY WANT IT RIGHT NOW. SO SO SO YUMMY.
If you’re ever in Cupertino, GO HERE. It seems weird AF and unnecessary, but my taste buds were legit having a party (My taste buds do more partying than I do…. #ThatVeganLifeDoe)
