So, what do you do if you have a busy day running errands (Like getting your hair done at the salon and running to auditions on the other side of town…lol I’m so basic LA *eeek* #vanilla) you make sure you keep your tummy full and your soul happy. So folks, we did what any other college freshman on the magical quest to gain the fifteen woud do. EAT.
We walked all the way up and down West 3rd looking for somewhere to satisfy our cravings, which is basically anything vegan and edible that can fit into my mouth (#thatswhatshesaid #jk #mentalimages #pleaseno), and stumbled upon this amazing little jem of a place!
The seating out doors is super pretty and the staff is very friendly. It’s not all vegan but they have tons of vegan options! Here are some pics of the place and my sister and I and our bestie (And new momager- mom and manager/life coach and disney enthusiast) Kristen hardcore chilling. This restaurant has wonderful natural vibes and is a great place to escape college and get some quality R&R.
For lunch/linner, Bella got a pinapple berry frappe which came in a hipster mason jar which automatically makes us all hipsters #DUH. She really liked it. She also got the tofu scramble with a side of a 7 grain salad and granola which she also really liked! I got a pot of chamomile tea and granola with fruit and almond milk (Lol aren’t I so tumblr?). So delicious. Exactly what I wanted.
So if you ever find yourself meandering around West 3rd and hating on Joan’s on Third because of their lack of vegan support and love, have no fear. Toast Bakery Cafe if here! Well, I mean there. Like on third street. Unless you are on third street (Which would be kinda ironic and creepy?), then I guess “here” works.
