No Boys Allowed. SORRY NOT SORRY.
You know the Soho House? The swagalicious members-only hot spot for all the wealthy and famous elite of the top cities in the world?! No? Well, you’re not missing out because Soho House is for CHUMPS! (Lol i’m just salty im not famous enough to get in #cry). BUT, my therapist actually told me about an all female, members-only club called The Wing in West Hollywood and I knew I had to join. It’s the perfect place to get writing done. Yes, you have to pay a yearly (or monthly) fee that is – not gonna lie- pretty steep, but if you have the money to spare, I totally recommend it.
The space is pretty small but the interior design is PINK AF, they have a cafe with vegan options, a bathroom with a ton of products and full showers, a female centric library, they host events every single week and even movie screenings, and they have conference rooms and phone booths so you can take those meetings and business calls like a BOSS. Working on my screenplay there felt SO right. I was surrounded by all different kinds of women joined by one single idea: GET SHIT DONE. It’s like the boss ass babes club. LOVE IT.
ANYWAY, they have a cafe with a ton of vegan options. (Their menu had a typo and said one dish could be made vegan and when I asked, they said it couldn’t because it was a typo, BUT other than that, the menu is litty)
I got a matcha with oat milk and an avocado toast. The matcha wasn’t my fave because it tasted VERY authentic and was VERY matcha-y. But the avocado toast was delicious and filling and the perfect lunch to get me through working on the first act of my screenplay!! Next time I go, I want to try the Laura Palmer (the female version of an Arnold Palmer!) and the AB&J. Both look so yummy! They also have flavored popcorn and kombucha. Like this doesn’t get better!
Check them out!
