So guys, what do you do on Valentines Day when it’s your birthday, you don’t have a date, and you’re in a  foreign country? You go to dinner with your family and family friends! And then just spy on all the couples around you muhahaha.

Stokehouse is this really SWANKY, beachy restaurant in St. Kilda, Melbourne, which if you know nothing about Melb,  St. Kilda is a really cool beachy area. I don’t know if they had anything particularly vegan on the menu, but we called ahead and they made me an entire vegan menu. All the waiters were really friendly and the view was SPECTACULAR. I felt like I was at Nobu Malibu.

All the food was SUPER tasty. They accidentally brought out a non-vegan dish so that was kind of annoying, but other than that, everything else was SO yummy! They have this thing called “beetroot” that is super popular in Melbourne. I don’t even like beets and whatever the fuck beetroot is, is DELICIOUS. I could eat it every day for every meal. It’s magical. 

Also, the dessert on the vegan menu isn’t vegan BTW lol. But the sorbet was and it was incredible. And I don’t even like sorbet that much.

So if you’re vegan and single AF on Valentines Day, come here and celebrate. Because being single is seriously awesome.
