Disclaimer: You don’t have to be skinny to enjoy skinny pizza. You also don’t have to be pizza to enjoy skinny pizza. Now that we’ve adressed these concerns, let’s get on to the review.
So a new pizza place just opened in my hometown called Skinny Pizza. If some of you are from LA, you may confuse this with “Skinny bitch pizza;” however, they are complerely seperate. Skinny Pizza in CT is actually just a normal build-your-own pizza shop (like Blaze), except the crust is very thin (skinny I guess??) and therefore the pizza has less calories than your average pizza. But, like, it’s still pizza, so….?
Anyway, we got the original crust for the base of our pizza, but, fyi, all of their crusts are vegan. For the sauce, we got marinara. The only other sauce that is vegan is the red pomodoro. For cheese, we got the vegan mozerlla, but they also have a vegan chedder option! For toppings, we kept it simple with sun-dried tomatoes, but they have a bunch of other veggie/vegan toppings if you’re into being healthy and what not.
Anyway, I really liked it and will def be back for more when I’m home again. Depsite it tasting great, we got it delivered, which is why it looks cold and dry. Can’t wait to eat it at the restaurant when it’s all gooey and warm and cheesy. Brb. Gonna go daydream about that.
