Vegan options at a hotel in Los Angeles? Groundbreaking. *cue Miranda Priestly eye roll*
I’m kidding! I’m not annoyed! I’m stoked! One of the best parts about living in Los Angeles is that there is a 95% chance there will be vegan options wherever you go.
So my older sister was staying at the Sixty Hotel in BH the other week and invited my twinny and I to come over, watch a movie, and order room service. Doesn’t that sound like the ideal night in? Well, it most certainly was. Don’t hate us ’cause you ain’t us. Anyway, we ended up watching the murder mystery film Knives Out (the dog did it – I’m kidding) and ordering some yummy options!
Bella got the Mezze board (sans cheese) and it was amazing. The beet hummus mixed with the seasoned and grilled pita bread was HEAVENLY. She also got a side of truffle fries and those were also amazing and perfectly crispy. It’s pretty hard to ruin truffle fries, right? Even bad truffle fries are still truffle fries lol.
I, on the other hand, ended up getting the Thai crunch salad and requested mini tofu steaks on top of it in place of the other animal-based proteins they offered. I LOVED it. It had these crunchy, crispy rice noodles mixed in that made every bite so fun and delicious. The kale and cabbage and other veggies were SO fresh too and the tofu was delicious. I would 10/10 order again.
So overall, I’d not only give the room service at The Sixty 1 thumbs-up, I’d give it 60 thumbs-ups. See what I did there?
