One day my friends and I were craving Johnny Rockets but the closest one was in West Nyack, wherever that was. So every time we met up, we always joked how we were gonna go to the Johnny Rockets in West Nyack for dinner, but never actually went. We kept this inside joke going for a while (because lets be real, inside jokes always make up a majority of a friendship), but last night we actually decided to go! And it twas an adventure and a failure all in one! (Are you excited to find out why is was a failure??? Ooo suspense.)

The Johnny Rockets in West Nyack is located in the Palisades mall (which i highly recommend going to. It’s like the coolest mall ever. They have froyo stands everywhere and  jungle gyms and a movie theater, and stores and restaurants). So we finally ventured to West Nyack and the second we walked into Johnny Rockets, ready to cross “Johnny Rockets in West Nyack” off our bucket list, the waiter told us it was closing in 10 minutes (9:30). WHAT A FAIL.

So we walked away, shoulders hunched in defeat. But then, Red Robbins opened their arms and hearts to us and provided us with the hospitality that Johnny Rockets never could (too dramatic? nahh). They stayed open till 10 and guess what, they have a vegan burger (BOCA Original Vegan Burger Patty) !! And it comes with bottomless fries!!! I know! We also ordered Freckled Lemonade (strawberry lemonade) and it was delicious (with free refills!)

So just remember folks, sometimes doors close, so that better ones can open. Legit.
