Located in Venice, one block from the beach, is a cute, Australian cafe called Little Lunch. The interior was super cute and minimal/beachy. The staff was incredibly friendly. And they had a ton of drink options including matchas, lattes, and hot chocolate. They even make their own almond milk. They had Nowhere Bakery vegan treats in the snack fridge, as well as vegan bars, and even vegan pastries! For the pastries, they had a vegan chickpea puff pastry as well as a vegan banana bread. They also collabed with Great White (another amazing cafe in Venice) to make vegan falafel wraps!!! So many vegan options. The cafe is not entirely vegan but they have incredible options!

Everything was really yummy and fresh and delicious. We even got to meet the owner, and he was incredibly friendly as well. The matcha was yummy, the falafel wrap was delicious, and the chickpea puff was super yummy and tasted like a samosa!

HOWEVER, the area can be a little sketchy. There was a shooting there recently (like literally in front of Little Lunch. It had nothing to do with the cafe in specific but it did happen around there). Venice in general is becoming super dangerous, and drive by shootings are becoming more common. SO, if you are in the area, maybe pick up food to go. I wouldn’t sit in their patio though because, although it is a nice patio area, the shooting happened right next to it. The drinks, food, service, and interior design was 10/10 though! It’s definitely an Insta worthy cafe. Just be safe if you go! Apparently the shooting wasn’t a normal occurrence, BUT, LA is getting kind of dangerous as of late so be safe and keep an eye on your surroundings.
