Let’s get one thing straight, I’m not a normal vegan, I’m a cool vegan. Well, cool and bougie, some might say.
On our recent trip to France, my friend Monica was in Paris and decided to take us out to one of her favorite restaurants in Paris – L’Avenue. L’Avenue is this fancy, celeb-studded restaurant in Paris that gets BOOKED to the nines on fashion week and any other big weeks in LA involving rich people and celebs. Luckily it wasn’t fashion week or anything like that, so the place wasn’t too hectic.
The restaurant is not all vegan and is a classic Parisian dinner spot, so I was expecting there to be nothing on the menu for us other than fries and a modified salad, but they honestly had more than that!
Surprisingly, they were able to make us this impromptu DIY avocado toast dish as an appetizer, which consisted of the BEST fluffy sourdough bread, the most delicious and fresh sliced avocado, olive oil, and sea salt. Simple, but so delicious.
Then, for dinner, they actually had a vegan-labeled curry with quinoa and tofu! How dope! It was also delicious!
They also have THE BEST french fries everrrrrrrrrrr. I’m craving them so hard right now.
So if you want to be fancy bougie and eat somewhere with vegan options, this is your spot. Just make sure to make a reservation in advance and be aware that the staff is kinda rude. Other than that, enjoy!!
