What do Nobu and Malibu Farms have in common? Other than being delicious and trendy of course….
THEY ARE BOTH AT THE FOUR SEASONS IN LANAI.
Yes. You heard that right. (Or read that right….?)
For those of you who don’t know what Lanai is, it’s one of the Hawaiian islands and you can take a ferry to it from Maui.
It is low-key (high-key) VERY isolated, so leaving the hotel is even more expensive that in Maui, so be prepared to be SICK of Nobu and Malibu Farms by the end LOL. I’m not kidding. As much as I love both places, I can’t go back to them for another year.
But for the vegan options, leggggggo
Malibu Farm: V trendy cafe in Malibu, California with a ton of vegan options such as salads, curry tofu, acai bowls, and quinoa oatmeal. HIGHLY recommend the sweet potato wedges and the pineapple kale juice. My sis loves the vegan chopped salad.
Nobu: V famous/trendy Japanese restaurant in only v famous/trendy places. SORRY. Didn’t get any pictures because we’ve reviewed Nobu on dis blog multiple times (also we were lazy and forgot), but make sure to ask what can be made vegan because they can make avocado dishes, tofu dishes, etc.
Avocado rolls at Nobu are legit heaven so make sure to get those. Also they had a vegan dessert that had passion fruit shaved ice with coconut sorbet and red beans and it was INCREDIBLE. Dreaming about it right now. Dreaming about it forever.
OK. Room service options (really not that exciting tbh):
- Fruit
- Baked Potatoes
- Tofu stir fry (REALLY good)
- Veggie pasta (chef made it for us specially when we asked for vegan options)
Again, not many pictures cuz we a bunch of lazy gals
The breakfast buffet place in the hotel also had lots of accidentally vegan options such as plenty of fruits and juices, bagels, jams, cereals, etc. So check it out! But also it’s HELLA expensive so maybe don’t? They also had scrambled tofu on the menu which was cheaper than the buffet so maybe check that out instead lol.
Anyway, if you find yourself in Lanai, you have LOTS of vegan options. Will they be delicious? Yes. Will you get sick of eating the same thing everyday. YES.
