So, today we spent a day in Manhattan with our friend Taylor and per tradition, we always start our NYC mornings with NYC bagels. Her mom recommended this apparently famous bagel place with “the best bagels in New York” called Ess-a so we went! (Although side note, my friend Tay called her NYC native friend and told her we were at Essa. Her friend replied “What the fuck is that?” so maybe not ultra famous….? #awks) 

Anyway, the place was super busy and packed so it must have been pretty popular. My sister and I each got everything bagels with plain tofutti and capers. This place is very vegan friendly and has all types of toffuti spread from cinnamon raison to scallion to herb and more. The bagel was so delicious and if you ever get off at Grand Central and are looking for a place to stop for bagels nearby, this is it!
