El Pollo Loco is a fast food chain out in California and they just game out with a “polloless” VEGAN OPTION!!! It always makes me so happy when fast food chains come out with vegan options because 1) veganism is the future AND 2) If you are ever on a road trip and fast food is the only option, you finally have something to eat that isn’t just french fries or a side salad!

So for those of you who don’t know Spanish, “El Pollo Loco” translates to “the crazy chicken” which is exactly how I feel during quarantine! What a coincidence! So they came out with a “polloless” option which translates to a “chicken-less” chicken essentially.

They sent us the coolest little swag bag with a really cute water cup, the most COMFY t-shirt, and a gift card to check out their new vegan options!

So we donned our adorable t-shirts and made our way to El Pollo Loco. The employees were so fricken nice and helpful. We ordered the “polloless” tacos (WITHOUT CHEESE) as well as the “polloless” burrito (WITHOUT CHEESE OR CILANTRO CREAM).

The tacos were really yummy and hearty in my opinion. My sister didn’t love them as much as I did and said that they were essentially “a good fast food option” but I’ll lowkey eat anything vegan and genuinely enjoyed them. I wouldn’t go out of my way for them, but if El Pollo Loco was the only food option, I would gladly get the tacos and enjoy them.

The burrito was good but not as good as the tacos in my opinion!
