Yes, I’m THIS excited!!!! My fave NYC donut place (since before I went vegan) now has vegan options and I am SHOOK.

Like not only is Doughnut Plant cute as f*ck, but they also have the best doughnuts in da city!! I was lowkey shocked when I was perusing instagram the other week and saw that someone had gotten a vegan donut here! #shocked #shook 

So of course, I had to check it out for myself and, lo and behold, they not only had one, but TWO vegan donut options: double chocolate and banana glaze. Both were just as amazing and delicious as I expected them to be and I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the city and craving a sweet thang.

Plus, the fact that this place has vegan donuts now is so symbolic of a shift in customer demand. I’m tellin ya guys, vegan is gonna be the standard in a few years. Our kids are going to look back and be like, “Wait, you ate meat and cow’s milk? Gross!!” Ok, maybe not in a few years, but definitely in the near future.
