OKAY. Imma be real with yall. Los Angeles has New York BEAT when it comes to vegan food. And you want to know how I know that? Because there are about 15+ donut shops in LA that are entirely vegan or have vegan options. New York on the other hand, has maybe 5 and one is all the way in Brooklyn and the other just closed. SO THANK GOD FOR DOUGH DONUTS. You are paving the way for New York donuts. May all NYC donut shops follow in your LEAD, you beautiful  trailblazers. 

Dough donuts just came out with three new VEGAN donuts and so we KNEW we had to get some. We got the hibiscus donut and the cinnamon sugar one! (The coconut one in the photo is not vegan and was for our grandma btw!)

Were they the best donuts I’ve ever had? No. Did I enjoy them? Yes! They were a little greasy I’m not gonna lie, but they were delicious! I’m not running to get more donuts from here but if I was in NY and seriously craving a donut, I would stop by!
