So apparently London is like super duper famous for their Indian food? I have no clue why, but apparently it’s a thing?
Anyway, upon hearing this was the case, I made it a priority to go to at least ONE Indian restaurant before I left London… so OBVS I went to Dishoom.
For those of you clueless donuts out there who have never heard of Dishoom, Dishoom is London’s most popular Indian restaurant. So, to my pleasent suprise, when I went, they had (drumroll please…….) an ENTIRE VEGAN MENU. Um… YAS?!
Anyway, so I pretty much when ham on the menu (lol the irony) and got errrrything.
We started with the vegan somosas which were DE-LICIOUS. So good. I want to shove ten down my throat right now. Gimme gimme.
Then I got the chili spiced corn which was also bae. Corn in just bae in general, ya know?
I have to say those two starters were my favorite dishes of the night. I also got the “gunpowder potatoes” and some chickpea chili thing wih rice. All well-made, I just realized that I may not be the biggest fan of Indian food, I’M SORRY OK!? I TRIED MY BEST!!!
Anyway, lowkey this place is adorable and their bellinis and appetizers are worth the trip so if I were you, I’d check it out!
