SO Olie found out about this place from a good friend who also goes to USC who’s vegan and thank god for her because this place was THE SHIT. Us and our two friends (believe it or not, we have friends), Ali and Neil, went to brunch today at Daily Dose Cafe and let me tell you, we had our daily dose of deliciousness #ILovePunsSoMuch. First of all, the vibe of this cafe was incredible. It was like a mix between a very hipster Brooklyn coffee shop and like a fantasy garden that you’d only see in Alice in Wonderland. There were lights strung from the top, and vines growing on all the red brick walls, and chandeliers hanging from the vines and it was just so beautiful, yet so chill at the same time . In the words of our friend Neil, “this place is almost too cool”. So there you have it.
Olie and I ordered the Farmers Sandwich which had yams and other yummy stuff in it and it was actually PERFECTION. So good. The sandwich was a perfect mix of salty and sweet (like me….#um) And the olive bread was to-die for. So fantastic. I’ve never had a sandwich like it before. SO YUMMY. But you have to order it without the cheese and without the veggie patty because it has eggs in it :/but it’s okay because the sandwich was so filling i couldn’t even imagine adding cheese and a veggie patty #NotBitterISwear. Our friend Ali got the kale salad and really liked it and we each got the three sides to share (fruit salad, guacamole with toast, and the yams). All of them were delicious but the yams are probably not worth getting again, especially because they were already in my sandwich #Yamception
The only downsides were that there was no fresh OJ juice or lemonade so i couldn’t get juice or an arnold palmer (CRYING ON THE INSIDE) but it was okay #FirstWorldProblems. One of the waiters was really nice doe and took a photo of the four of us so that was super cool. Also the waitress inside was hard core flirting with our friend Neil so that was entertaining to watch, not gonna lie.
Anyways, come here if you want to just relax, eat some good food, and be a cool hipster.
