If any of you are confused on how to pronounce the name of this place, I believe it is pronounced CHECK-ONYs. If that is wrong, you didn’t hear it from me. Cecconi’s? I don’t know her. 

Anyway, Cecconi’s is this modern Italian place in West Hollywood. It’s one of those pricey, sceney LA hot spots. Everyone there looks like they want to be an actor lol. Anyway, the restaurant does have all the vegan options marked on the menu, which I totally appreciate. 

So for starters, I got the avocado/chick pea dip with crudite. Lowkey, it was horrible?? The dip literally tasted like the leftover pulp from a green juice. No bueno. 

I did like my entree though! I got the vegan pizza with vegan ricotta cheese, mushrooms, and brussels. I really, really liked it! My only issue was that there was no sauce and not enough cheese (which acted as the sauce I guess). So if I ever order it again, I would just ask to double up on the cheese. I mean, when is it not a good idea to double up on cheese? 

Then for dessert, we tried the vegan chocolate tart. It was pretty good! Not a huge tart person, but it was good. #tartperson
