HAYYYY GUYS! Guess what? The Butcher has a daughter and ironically she just opened up an all vegetarian restaurant in Venica, CA on Abbot Kinney St!
Now, settle down folk, yes I know there is a Butcher’s Daughter in Manhattan and yes I’ve been. Unfortunately it was just mediocre, so I thought I’d give it another chance!
So Bella, our friend Maxine, and I ventured out to Venice for some sun, shopping, and foooooood!
Anyway, first of all, the vibes are super hip. Super earthy and hipster. A LA instagramers wet dream pretty much.
However, for an all vegetarian restaurant, they had very few vegan options for breakfast. Even though they use almond milk and don’t have meat, they still use eggs in their stuff which is just plain #rude
So for starters, Bella ordered the juice flight, which she loved. I ordered the green juice (cucumber, kale, apple) which was great and Maxine ordered this tangerine, carrot, orange juice which she also loved! #yassss
For our “appetizer” (lol yes breakfast needs an appetizer) we had mini pumkin donuts from the ALL VEGAN pastry display at the front. SO SO SO SO good. Tasted like fall and my childhood. Made me miss the east coast.
For breakfast, we each got the Breakfast Burritos (w/ out the egg of course) and the french toast! Very good!
All in all, wasn’t my fave place BUT I did go shopping after and we also got free ice cream at Salt & Straw so this betch aint complainin’
