I know we’ve already reviewed Bluestone Lane on TVLD before, but that was the New York location and this one is the LA location, so suck it. 

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the popular Australian Cafe… it is an Australian cafe with, ironically, no locations in Australia and all locations within the USA. 

This place is awesome. The decor and ~clientele~ is super chic, the food is trendy and delicious, and the waiters/waitresses are all Australian. It makes you feel like you’re right back home in the outback! I’m kidding. But it does make you feel like you’re in a chic Melbourne brunch cafe. 

Speaking of Melbourne, Bella studied abroad there and pretty much nutted when she ate here today. You can take the girl out of study abroad, but you’ll never take the study abroad out of the girl, I’ll tell ya that.  

So Bella ended up getting hot chocolate with almond milk, as well as a vegan chickpea burger which she LOVED. I think I literally heard her say, “this is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.”

I got a “Fitzroy” juice, which had pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, and ginger root. It was soooooo good and refreshing. I was a tad hungover from the night before and this really hit the spot. I also got the avo toast which was bomb. 

I forgot the name of what our friend Sara got, but it was a fluffy coconut milk porridge thing. She really liked it!

So anyway, forget the yellow brick road. Go down Bluestone Lane instead.
