Best part of having a boyfriend? That they will drive two hours  in a storm just to get to you and then surprise you with vegan pizza! 

hahahah just kidding! There are a lot of “best parts” about having a boyfriend. But vegan pizza is definitely a perk! 

Joe, my boyfriend, is from Staten Island and when I found out there was a pizza place near his house that had an entire vegan menu, I knew I had to try it! If you don’t know anything about Staten Island (I don’t know that much either since my first time going will be in September!), Staten Island is not very vegan friendly. So a pizza place having an entire vegan menu is a big deal!

They have vegan pizza, vegan mozzarella sticks, vegan pasta, vegan rice bowls, and even vegan wings! Joe got me an entire vegan pizza pie and a side of mozzarella sticks. Both of them were super yummy! We ate them the night after Joe bought them so they were sitting in a fridge overnight and reheated. Everything was so delicious but probably would have been EVEN BETTER at the actual restaurant. 

The pizza was amazing. My sister and I are still craving it. Like my sister is making Joe bring her pizza when he visits me in LA. That’s how much she loved it. If you’re ever in Staten Island, definitely come here for the vegan pizza! Yum!! I’m craving it right now! (The picture doesn’t do it justice)

Not going to lie, vegans cannot master mozzarella sticks for the life of them but i appreciated the attempt and still ate them! The marinara sauce it came with was delicious. I think these would be really good served fresh and warm at the actual restaurant.

If you’re ever in Staten Island, get some vegan pizza and tell my boyfriend I say hi and that I miss him and can’t wait for him to come to LA!

(let me just clarify though that you don’t need a man to get yourself vegan pizza! If you want vegan pizza, you get that vegan pizza, gurl! Also, relationships are hard and take work. So if you’re single and reading this, just know that everything in life has ups and downs and being single/being in a relationship both bring different challenges and growth. Just because you aren’t in a relationship, doesn’t mean you have less value!)
