So as we all know, even though Larchmont LA has adopted babycakes, the original babycakes resides in (As I proudly say with pride, naturally) the city I was born in, the big apple. 

If you live in the city or are visiting, this bakery is a MUST GO. They have a variety of all vegan, gluten-free, soy free donuts, cupcakes, cookies sandwiches, brownies, donut holes, frosting shots, and more! It is the cutest (and tiniest) little bakery, you’ll feel like you’re in one of those typical french bakeries you see in the motion pictures. It has a dazzling pink awning which stands out from the dark and edgy feel of Broome Street and it smells delightful!

 I recommend the salted caramel donuts and the mocha crunch donuts. I happen to be a fan of the red velvet cupcakes but the cupcakes here have a very specific vegan taste so if you’re trying to show your non-vegan friends how vegan desert can taste normal , stay away from the cupcakes. Delicious, but not traditional. (C’mon, we all know those friends who will do anything to prove that vegan food tastes different than “real food”. ….Those butt-munches)
