Hey guys, so the sis and I thought we’d try being adventerous for a bit and try some ethiopian food!!!! (Yup ladies and gentleman, livin on the edge here)
Anyway, apparently there is this vegan Ethipian place like 5 minutos away from USC called Azla and because we are lazy AF, we got it delivered for $5!!! (#yassss)
Anyway, sorry of some this menu vocab is new to you. It was pretty new to us too.
So we got the “injera” (instead of brown rice). Injera is this sponge-like crepe thing. Bella didn’t really like it. Sara and I thought it was a tad wonky but like, with the toppings, it kind of grew on me (and I’m oddly cravin it rn?).
For toppings, we got the “tofu tibs” (Tofu and caramelized onions- YUM), “Gomen” (kale/collard greens- EH) and “keysir” (beet salad- SO yum) and “fasolia” (carrots and green beans- pretty good)
Overall review:
Not for everyone. Fun, a little weird, but it grows on you. (<- I think I’ll make that my tinder profile)
