So Melrose is by far my favorite place in LA because not only is Duff’s Cakemix there, but so is Crossroads (an AMAZING and super fancy vegan restaurant), Real Food Daily (one of my fave vega spots), anddddd last but not least, Alfreds Coffee. And they are all in walkable distance. And let me tell you my friends, we did not hold back. We did not go gentle into that good night #InterstellarReference #StillMindFucked. Today we legit went to all FOUR places, one right after the other. Okay so we didn’t eat at Crossroads but we did take pictures in front of it.

So anyways, after decorating two cakes, we walked to Alfreds (that two minute walk totally counted for my exercise of the day right?) Alfreds is this really cool and hip coffee place that has some vegan goodies and it just has a chill vibe and it’s always super packed because it’s so busy. But our fave thing that they have is there granola that you can get with almond milk. It’s called “Just. Add. Milk” which seems a bit aggressive, but it’s SOOO yummy. Also, Alfreds is known for their really well designed, and seasonal coffee sleeves so we took a bunch to put up on our walls cause we are #Basic like that. Anyways, we also found this really cool wall in Melrose to take cool photos in front of so while you’re reading about Alfreds, also enjoy our impromptu photoshoot
