Vegan at Ain Soph Ginza – Tokyo, Japan

Yes, I’m aware that the name of the restaurant makes no sense, but, to their defense, “Ain Soph” is actually a vegan chain of restaurants in Tokyo and whatever comes after “Ain Soph” is what makes the restaurant different. So, for example, this Ain Soph is located in Ginza, hence the name: Aim Soph Ginza.

Each Ain Soph serves a different type of food! Ain Soph Ripple, one of their sister restaurants, actually sells vegan burgers! So now that we’ve established that the Ain Soph chain is THE SHIT, let’s proceed to the review.

Ain Soph Ginza is this very small, but adorable little vegan place in the Ginza district of Tokyo. As I’ve mentioned before in prior Japan posts, many of the vegan restaurants have very small menus. When I say small, I mean very small, as in two or three options. Ain Soph Ginza was no exception.

There were two menu items: the vegan bento box and the fluffy pancakes. As much as that seems limiting, I promise you it’s not because BOTH WERE INCREDIBLY BALLER! That’s the thing about Japan. The food is lit. You really can’t go wrong.

The bento box came with this delicious af tomato soup, a fresh salad, some fried little soy nuggets, a quiche, raw veggies with dip, AND a bowl of rice. My dad (who is the last person on earth who would ever go vegan lol) said he LOVED it. My sis and I obviously loved it too.

Then we had the pancakes for a post-lunch dessert. Sweet baby Jane, those pancakes were delicious. They were like little dessert clouds floating in a cotton candy sky.

They were fluffy and sweet and came with a dope little toppings bar which included syrup, ice cream, AND whipped cream. Like, man, Japanese people really know how to satisfy hungry vegans.

And to top it off, each chair came with a furry blanket to make the meal even more cozy and delicious!

10/10 recommend!!!!!!!
