Yes, when I say Plaza, I am indeed referring to the Plaza in Eloise at the Plaza and Home Alone 2 plaza where Macaulay Culkin meets our beloved (barf) president Donald (barf) Trump. Sorry if y’all are Trump supporters, I respect your opinions, just not his. 

Anyway, politics aside, the Plaza actually has a cute little tea room called the Palm Court where you can enjoy a little afternoon tea ~ala England~ with friends. 

My sis and I went with a friend and ordered the VEGAN AFTERNOON TEA. Yes, you fellas heard that correctly. They have an entire vegan tea menu with: vegan scones, jam, little vegan pastries, and vegan sandwiches. And, of course, tea. 

Review: Tea was great. We got a Rooibos tea with vanilla and caramel notes and it was amazing. The little sandwiches and desserts were not great, but also not bad. They were ok. Some were better than others (like the sun-dried tomato sandwich on a pretzel bun), but I’m also a bit of an afternoon-tea-snob after study abroad in London LOL so my opinion is biased. 

It’s a bit expensive, so maybe do it as a birthday thing or holiday thing, but if you like tea and classy aesthetics, for sure check it out!
