Guys, imagine if you took all the adorable parts of Alice in Wonderland, Eloise at the Plaza, and Mrs. Umbridge’s office from Harry Potter… you would get London’s trendiest and most adorable afternoon tea place: Sketch.
The vibes of this place are so trendy, so cool, so unique, it’s almost impossible to go without taking an instagram, snapchat, or facebook pic while you’re there.
And the bathroom? Don’t even get me started. It’s usually so janky to take bathroom selfies, but this bathroom has changed the game. Ever see those pictures of people taking a mirror selfie and there are all these egg-like pods behind them? Yeah, those pods are the fuckin toilets at Sketch. Feels like you’re on another planet.
Anyway, if you order in advance like I did, they prepare an entirely vegan tea with three courses:
- Assortment of sandwiches and little desserts (OMFGEE those fucking tiny little vegan truffle grilled cheeses. Legit so good. Also, BTW, sandwiches are free refill , so you can ask for more without an additional cost. Yes, you bet your ass we got more of those lil grilled cheeses)
- Scones with jams (YUM! Scones are just the shit. Nothing more to say)
- And SUPPOSEDLY after-tea desserts we never got. Whatever, salty, but over it.
And for drinks we got the rose tea and a side of sparkling grape juice which was so good it was insane.
12/10 recommend. And bring people here to catch up if you want to seem cool, lol.
