So I’m home on the Beast Coast East Coast and that literally means one thing and one thing only. I am closer to the best donut shop in the history of mankind of everland. This little shop stays true to its motherfuckin name! These pups are not only done well, but done swell and done beautifully. #twasadream

Anyway, the twin and my besties from back home (Taytay, Xtina, and Alisicone <- stripper names) ventured all the way there, taking a 40 minute train and 2 (two!!) subway rides just to get to this bakery.  

For those of you who don’t know what Dunwell is (**haven’t lived), it is the world’s first all vegan donut shop but it is so amazing and not “vegan tasting” (<-whatever the fuck that means) that vegans and non-vegans LURVE it. All my nonvegan friends and family drool over these dog-nuts. No joke. They come in the BEST flavors (For example, french toast, mint chip cookie, peanut butter &jelly and traditional chocolate and glaze and all that jazz) and the dough is soft but airy and the frosting is to die for. 

They are so good, we all had a donut date at the store, then EACH got half a dozen ($14) to go. EACH. 

If you live near Brooklyn and  if you don’t, you must take the trip pronto. You’re scale and ego may regret it, but your stomach and your soul will not.  (Unless your ego and soul are one, in that case, good luck my friend. You have many more battles to overcome)
