Okay, so remember that post a few months ago of that vegan cooking class we did? Of course not, no one reads our blog! Well anyway, we decided to take another one with the wonderful and talented chef Laurie! She specializes in vegetarian, vegan, raw, gluten-free and all those different-types-of-diet cooking! You can contact her at http://healthyculinarycreations.com/services/ if you want to have a super fun time and eat delicious food!
So today, our theme was, oui, French. Last time we did Asian, so we thought we’d try French. So for today’s menu we made french onion soup, mushroom risotto, tempeh picatta, sautéed greens, and strawberry dessert crepes!
We had the best time and all the food smelled so delicious, we kept sneaking bites throughout the entire class! (Shhhhhhh, it’s my dirty little secret. Don’t tell anyone or you’ll be just another regret #TysonRitter)
We cooked with our good friends Allie, Mailah (fellow vegan), and my adorable amazing Grandma! Below I’m posting the recipes and some photos of the class and cooking process.
Highly recommend her classes. We made delicious food and she teaches you how to make food with healthier substitutes like arrow-root and coconut oil and nutritional yeast and things like that! And the best part is, now I know how to make more than just toast and cereal #success muddafuddas!!!!
