Because my extent of cooking knowledge reaches as far as toast, cereal, and maybe if I’m being brave, frying prepackaged veggie burgers….mi madre thought it was a good idea to get me and the twinsy a cooking lesson so we invited our friend Rebecca and my adorable Grandma and ventured off to a cooking class. The chef Laurie was so awesome and patient and kind and made sure none of us cut our fingers off during the chopping portion of the class! She, too, is vegan and organic and mindful of the food she prepares so she had loads of great advice to give. Here are some pictures of the food preparation and us having fun in the kitchen!
