HEY GUYS! Am I the only one who thinks of Khalessi, Mother of Dragons, when I think of dragonfruit? No? Am I just a huge Game of Thrones nerd? Well, guess what? All the cool people are!!
Anyway, I’ve recently gotten into dragonfruit (also known as pitaya) smoothie bowls (mostly because they are pink lol but also delicious). Here is a recipe for one that makes a single serving, but feel free to add whatever you like!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups almond milk (or any nut milk)
- 1 packet of frozen dragonfruit
- 1/2 cup frozen chopped mango
- 1/3 cup frozen cherries
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- Optional: add frozen mixed berries
Instructions:
- Blend all of this together and top with your favorite toppings
- I suggest granola, superfood blends, fruit, nut butters, etc.
- VOILA
