Vegan Rugelach!!!

I’m pretty sure one of the seven wonders of the world is rugelach. Don’t quote me on that, but I’m 99% sure of it. What is rugelach, you non-Jewish people ask? Well, it’s only the most amazing Jewish dessert to ever exist in the galaxy. It’s like a little cinnamon roll, but flaky and sugary and dry, not wet. Yes, I also hate the word wet. We digress…

Anyway, when I was a kid, my best friend’s mom would always buy us dozens of rugelach as an after-school snack, and my sister and I would DOWN them in seconds. But after I went vegan, I sort of came to the peace with the fact that I would never have these delicious morsels again… until I found Lilly’s Baking Company.

Lilly’s in a bakery that sells their goods through whole foods, their website, and other markets. They aren’t 100% vegan, but do have great vegan options like this one! I tried the vegan cinnamon rugelach and OMGEE 10/10 recommend. I could eat those all day, every day. The perfect balance of sugary, flaky, cinnamony goodness.
