So I’ve wanted to try a vegan meal delivery service for a VERY long time. The thought of food being delivered to your apartment sounded SPLENDID.
SO. I looked online and found Veestro. What does ‘Veestro’ mean? No fucking clue.
I got the weight loss program because I wanted to loose weight to conform to male expectation I didn’t want that much food considering it was the first time I ordered it and I didn’t know what to expect. HOWEVER, it came with so much fucking food, I had to beg my friends to take some because my freezer was too small (and it was also packed to the brim with Tofurky pizza pockets #LIFE)
Here’s the deal. Food was yummy but nothing special. For three days of food (granted it could have lasted me a lifetime) it was $200 dollars. I ended up giving most of it away to friends because I couldn’t physically store it all. I really enjoyed one of the kale salads in there and one of the tropical juices was great. But I honestly have no idea how the rest was because my friends ate it.
Would I recommend it? Prob not, unless you are rolling in cash. In that case, buy a Lamborghini while you’re at it. Or at least, get a bunch of vegan friends together and split the cost and the goods. I’m talking about the food delivery service, not the Lambourghini. But hey, reach for the stars, kids.
