YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT!!!! I won! I really won!

For those of you unfamiliar with the brand Owyn, they have a line of plant-based protein shakes that come in all sorts of fun flavors like: Cookies & cream, coffee latte, strawberry banana, dark chocolate, and vanilla. 

My sister and I have been obsessed with them lately after discovering them off the shelves of Erewon, so when they put a contest up on their Instagram page to win a free month’s supply of shakes, I just had to apply. The rules to enter the competition were simple: Upload a video of you lip-synching to a song using an Owyn protein shake bottle as a microphone. 

As embarrassing as that sounded to put a video of myself lip-synching with a protein shake on the internet, I remembered who I truly was on the inside: a hoe for free vegan food. So I uploaded that shit in seconds and waited to see if I won. In the end, only 3 people applied to the contest. Owyn decided that, instead of having one winner, they wanted to commend all three of us for our creativity and bravery and… let us ALL win!!!

I kid you not, I know it’s only protein shakes, but I almost cried of happiness. I literally never win any contests or raffles, so I was stoked. Then two weeks later, I got three full BOXES of Owyn shakes in the mail. 

Owyn is now a part of my daily routine. I drink one every morning and blend them with vegan collagen, peanut butter, spinach/greens powder, and whatever else I have lying around like chia seeds and dates. They are the perfect base for a protein shake and I will definitely be buying more when my endless supply runs out. *Also, there are more than just the bottles pictured below. These were just the only ones that fit in my fridge LMAO.
