Well, here’s some good news people: our good friends Sophie and Charlotte who run an AWESOME fashion blog called Yin2MyYang decided to team up with ThatVeganLifeDoe and make a post about vegan fashion. Fashionably Vegan

Vegan! & no we don’t mean our diets (or at least Sophie doesn’t)…but vegan or faux leather awesome & colored moto jackets from Zara’s latest Spring collection. These jackets are the theme and #twinning concept of our post today. In honor and collaboration of and with our friends & fellow bloggers (not to mention another pair of super talented *twin* sisters), Olie & Bella Cohen, and their fantastic blog about all things vegan: That Vegan Life Doe // Instagram: @ThatVeganLifeDoe; we decided to dedicate today’s post to the importance of owning faux items and also celebrating the amazingness of these beautiful Zara jackets.

We each rocked the same faux leather moto jacket, but in different colors, paired with sneaks and completely  different looks. P.S. Zara has some of the BEST faux leather jackets we have ever laid our eyes on. When in search of a faux leather jacket, look no further, Zara will have what you are looking for 🙂 

SOPHIE’S LOOK:

I decided to pair my awesome yellow (and very Autumn colored) faux leather moto jacket with a masculine look including, surprise, overalls! My baggy, patchwork, “boyfriend” Current/Elliott denim overalls to be exact. Under my overalls, I wore my super fun patterned, and very comfortable American Apparel printed ‘Ryder’ mockneck bodysuit. I love how light this vegan leather jacket is….it doesn’t have the heaviness, it is absolutely perfect for this time of the year and also perfect to sport in the Spring season too. I topped off my look with my good old smile bright white low-top Chuck Taylors with cuffed bottoms to my baggy overalls. So many outfit possibilities with this versatile jacket but I decided to go with this one and loved how comfortable, yet stylish, I felt for a day hanging with Char-Char.

CHARLOTTE’S LOOK:

Opposite of Soph and going with my usual feminine and girly vibes, I wore the beautiful light pink vegan Zara leather moto jacket and paired it with a floral dress, the ‘Savanah’ floral printed dress from Reformation to be exact 🙂 The colors of the print on this dress looked perfect with my adorable pink jacket and I love the length and flow of this dress. To add a little more elegance to my outfit, I wore one of my favorite chokers, my Choked by a Thread black lace choker too, matching the solid black color of my dress. Finally, I decided to play down the girly and feminine look just a bit and add a casual feel to the dressy aspects of the rest of my outfit by wearing my classic Adidas black striped sneakers, that I can wear with any outfit, I love these shoes so much <3

Vegan/faux clothing is great and wayyy more affordable than the real thing, which is an obvious plus. This is not to say that we don’t love our dose of the real thing every once in a while, as true lovers of fashion and the fabrics that it is composed of, but we do love sporting vegan/ faux fabrics just as much and are super excited to be dedicated today’s post to faux/vegan leather jackets.
