So to be frank, I really do think it is mandatory to make urth cafe brunches a weekly habit if you are attending any college in the Los Angeles area. And trust me, you know, I’m not the type to push my values on others. I respect your opinions and most of them are valid but even so, I don’t use the word “mandatory” loosely You must go.
And know I know what you’re all saying. (Probably nothing because no one reads this blog) Those from New York are like “What’s Urth?” and those in LA are like *cue valley accent* “Urth is so overrated”. Because I happen to be a healthy breed of both coasts, here’s what I say: “Fuck all ‘yall and getcha self some brunch at urth”.
My fellow Trojan screenwriter (And foodie) Sophia was nice enough to drive us all out to Urth for some brunch with her two friends Gina and Tess, my roomate, and of course that thing we call the twin sister. (she who shall not be named).
I got a delicious orange, apple, carrot juice and Bella got a pinapple strawberry smoothie she definitly orgasmed over. We both got the sprout sandwich without cheese (hummus, sprouts, avocado, tomato, and onions) and we got the full, not the half because I like doing things 100%. I’m a go-getter #ThingsITellMyselfToSleepAtNight #octomom #8FoodBabies
Anyway, the sandwich was SUPER yummy, light, and simple. If you aren’t that hungry, I reccomend the half because the sandwich is quite large, but if you’re a go-getter like me, go big or go home sista. Bella also got her fave vegan chocolate cake which she also orgasmed over (It wasn’t on display, so make sure to ask for it. The cake, not the orgasm. C’mon guys, no, that’s so Harry Met Sally). Anyway, amazing.
Oh yeah, and if you have friends who live in los angeles, you know it’s mandatory to take at least 100 cute photos of you and your friends. I mean, it’s just one of those LA things. So enjoy the beautiful photos of our food and heinous pics of my face!
