Hey guys, so if you don’t live under a rock, I’m sure you’ve seen a video circulating on youtube concerning “the dog cafe”: a cafe where you pay $10 to sit in a room and play with adorable puppies and basically live out your wildest dreams…yeah, heard of it?
Well, we did too. The video was just so yummy and undeniably the most amazing thing ever (a cafe created just to play with puppies?!) so the sis, Ali, and I made reservations to go on Friday.
So first you check in at the coffee bar which was actually super adorable and had really BOSS ASS yummy lemonades like lavander, rose, and ginger lemonade. Very refreshing. I’m not even kidding, that lavender lemonade was probs some of the best lemonade I’ve ever had.
We thought we were off to a good start.
BUT BUT BUT the dogs really swayed my opinion about this cafe. In other words, as phrased by Bella, “the lemonade was better than the dogs”.
Yes, I know the this whole cafe goes towards a good cause and all the dogs are up for adoption, but the dogs were not puppies. They were old and tired and most of them didn’t want to be pet. The video on FB was uber misleading.
Like, we looked around and saw so much sadness and dissapointment in all the other’s guests eyes as dogs straight up ignored them and walked away.
It felt like we were all awkward preteen girls at a school dance and no guys wanted to dance with us.
This was the only dog that pittied us enough to let us pet it… but see how sad it looks? That’s literally what everyone in the cafe looked like #lolz #cryingtohidemytears
Would I recommend coming here for lemonade? Sure. Would I recommend coming here to adopt a dog? Yah! Would I recommend you coming here for fun? NOPE AF
