Want to know something ridiculous? We didn’t even plan on coming here. We literally found this place by accident.

Let me rewind. So my sister and I were filming in OC (Orange County for all you out-of-towners) and decided to check out the legendary vegan restaurant Seabirds in Costa Mesa. 

However, as we were walking to Seabirds, we spotted a donut shop literally next door to it. I asked Bella, “Yo, wanna check to see if they have anything vegan?” She said “um fu*k yah” so, as the story goes, we went inside. LO AND BEHOLD, half the store was FULL of vegan donuts. Not only was I shook by that, but also by the realization that we had actually already been to Good Town Donuts, but in Japan. Crazy, right? 

To honor our experience in Japan (and my grumbling tummy), we, of course, had to get multiple donuts in every flavor possible. We ended up getting a box of mixed assorted mini vegan donuts and two normal sized ones: matcha and chocolate frosting. 

They were amazing. They were beautiful. They were not Good Town Donuts. They were Great Town Donuts. 

Also, yes, I am a doughnut freak. Bite me.
